3 or more players. Pass & Play needs no connection.
Everyone gets the same secret word. One player gets only the word IMPOSTER.
Going one at a time, each player gives a clue about the word. The clue has to prove you know it without handing it to the imposter.
The imposter has no idea what the word is. They listen, work it out from the clues, and bluff a clue of their own.
When every clue is in, argue it out and vote. Catch the imposter and the group wins. If the imposter survives the vote, they win.
Everyone answers the same question, except one player, who is quietly given a slightly different one. Their answer will feel a little off. Find out whose.
One player creates a game and reads out the four digit code. Everyone joins on their own phone.
Clues go in one at a time in a random order, so the imposter still has to work with what came before. Each clue goes up on everyone's board and the game waits until every player taps Seen, then it moves to the next player.
